GlottaVue 1.6.6: Student Testing, rationales and in-app feedback

Updated November 1, 2026.

Release status: GlottaVue 1.6.6 (135) has been uploaded and submitted to Apple and Google for public-store review. Version 1.6.5 remains the current public release until each store approves and publishes the update. Availability can differ by platform and region.

Practice with randomized anesthesia questions

The new Student Testing section supports quick 10-question sessions, 100-question mock exams, random practice and topic-focused tests. Questions are selected randomly from the bundled bank for each session. Completed tests, selected answers and results can be saved on the device for later review.

Student Testing appears in Home favorites by default. Existing users receive the favorite once after updating; if they remove it, the app respects that choice.

Review answers with rationales

The bundled bank contains 872 reworded anesthesia review questions with multiple-choice distractors and answer rationales. Practice mode can provide answer feedback during a session, while mock exams delay feedback until completion. Topic and missed-question review help direct the next study session.

Ask GlottaVue and send feedback in the app

Visible Ask AI labels now read Ask GlottaVue. The online Assistant continues to require internet access, non-identifying details and independent review.

A new feedback form is available from Home and About. It lets you choose a category, add an optional reply email and send app feedback directly to GlottaVue. Submission requires confirmation that the message contains no patient information. Feedback is not sent to the AI provider.

More offline reference material

This build also includes the expanded Global health collection and recent Assistant reliability improvements. The global-health monographs are educational drafts and should be reviewed against current national guidance, local practice and available resources before use.
